I had such a hard time choosing my favorite book for this month because I've read quite a few great ones. Pivot Point by Kasie West was my runner up. Definitely check both of these out if you haven't already had the chance to read them.

This was SO GOOD. I already have Unravel Me (Book 2) on hold at my library. Keep an eye out for my review!

Across the Universe

My book of the month for May is... 

Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead.

When alchemist Sydney is ordered into hiding to protect the life of Moroi princess Jill Dragomir, the last place she expects to be sent is a human private school in Palm Springs, California. But at their new school, the drama is only just beginning.

That isn't a very detailed synopsis, but I promise you this book is great! But I recommend reading The Vampire Academy books first because they set this series up since this is a spin-off. You won't regret it. (No review)

My book of the month for April is... 

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.

As a young man, Jacob Jankowski was tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. It was the early part of the great Depression, and for Jacob, now ninety, the circus world he remembers was both his salvation and a living hell. A veterinary student just shy of a degree, he was put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie. It was there that he met Marlena, the beautiful equestrian star married to August, the charismatic but twisted animal trainer. And he met Rosie, an untrainable elephant who was the great gray hope for this third-rate traveling show. The bond that grew among this unlikely trio was one of love and trust, and, ultimately, it was their only hope for survival.

I read this book for a school project earlier this month and loved it. It pretty much had everything you could want in a book, plus a lot more. If you have seen the movie and not read the book, you should definitely think about it because the movie does not do it justice.
