This weeks question:
"What very popular and hyped book in the blogosphere did you NOT enjoy and how did you feel about posting your review?"
I had heard a lot of good things about The Duff by Kody Keplinger so I was very excited when I was finally able to read it, but a couple pages in and I already knew that I couldn't give it a 5 star or even a 4 star rating. I just didn't like it enough to do that and I wasn't comfortable lying. I ended up just writing the truth; I included the things I enjoyed and things I didn't like. I am not saying that the book sucked and that you shouldn't read it, only that it was not my favorite. If anybody read my review, I hope they found it helpful.
I just finished reading The DUFF. I was a little taken aback by it at first, but grew to like it as I continued on. My library has it cataloged as adult, not teen, because of the sexual content.
ReplyDeleteThe last book I read that was so hyped, but I didn't care for was Mockingjay. It definitely didn't end the way that I hoped.
I've heard that from a lot of people. I haven't had a chance to read that one yet, but its in my TBR pile.
