Feature & Follow Friday (43) / Friday 56 (12)

Feature & Follow Friday is a meme hosted by Parajunkiee's View & Alison Can Read. Check out their blogs and the two Featured Bloggers of the week! This is great for finding amazing new blogs to follow and for gaining followers yourself!

This weeks question is:
What are the funniest books you've ever read?

I answered:
I love witty characters so I'm going to say The Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead because of Rose Hathaway and more recently I just finished Confessions of a Virgin Sex Columnist! by Kay Marie which was hilarious and amazing.
What about you? Leave your answer to this weeks question in the comments below.

The Friday 56 is a meme hosted by Freda's Voice. Basically you flip to page 56 (or 56% in your eReader) of any book and post a sentence or two (more if you want) from that page without being too spoiler-y. This gives us a glimpse into what you are reading or have read, and may even prompt us to add your book to our TBR piles!

My teaser:
"There is one benefit to knowing someone for your entire life. Sure, Ollie has dirt on me. And well, a lot of it, because as you know, I have issues. But I also have dirt on him. Oh you know, just little things like he used to let Bridge and I braid his hair--butterfly clips, fake pink hair strands, glittery ties, the whole shebang. And yes, before you ask, I have the photos to prove it. Dirt!"
Excerpt From: Kay Marie. “Confessions of a Virgin Sex Columnist!.”

  4. This sounds like fun and the cover looks good as well. Not quite sure you should be keeping dirt on your friends but then, on the other hand, some of the pictures I have of my friends will make for excellent blackmail or embarrassing wedding-speech material! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

  6. The Vampire Academy is on my TBR so I'm glad to hear there's a little bit of humour too then. And Confessions of a Virgin Sex Columnist sound brilliant so I will definitely be checking it out.

    Thanks for visiting me.

  7. I actually liked the Vampire Academy movie. I feel like I’m the only person who did! Does anybody else remember that movie from early last year? I haven’t gotten a chance to read the books or graphic novels yet. I probably should…

  9. I tried the VA series and never made it past book one, I have thought about trying again as some say it's better once you get past book one. :)

  14. I just never think of Vampire Academy as being funny. I've only read the first two, but I'm seeing this mentioned a lot. I haven't heard of the other book -- I'll have to check it out. Thanks for stopping by.
