This weeks question is: 

Is there a book you were required to read in high school that you actually loved?

I answered: 
First off, I'm so excited to be one of this weeks featured bloggers!! So thanks to Parajunkiee's View for picking me!! 

As for this weeks question: I've actually never had issues reading the required books for school. I was usually one of the few people that actually read the entire book instead of Sparknoting most of it; I just hated having to analyze every single word and symbol afterward. I took Brit Lit instead of Am Lit in high school and really liked almost everything we read--especially Pride and Prejudice and Hamlet. In middle school we read  The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton and The Giver by Lois Lowry and I really enjoyed those as well!

Neither Piper nor Dirk seemed to have showered. Squeezing in next to Piper, I thought twice about the wisdom of this. With so many people staying here, there was bound to be no hot water left in a hour. Maybe there was none left now. As for showering in the morning--well, we'd planned a dawn start. What would they smell like by the time we reached Roncesvalles tomorrow? Sheep's cheese?
